Global payment provider adds new features enabling greater control and visibility for sponsors, CROs and sites; announces record usage and worldwide expansion at DIA 2019
DIA 2019 – SAN DIEGO – June 24, 2019 – Greenphire, the global leader in payment workflow automation for clinical trials, today announced that it has added features to its ConneX, ClinCard and eClinicalGPS solutions to better serve the needs of studies worldwide further asserting its position as the only true globally capable payment automation provider. Dedicated to trial payments for more than a decade, the company has successfully addressed the distinct needs as well as regulatory and tax requirements of the top 20 clinical trial markets and beyond.
ConneX
ConneX – the most comprehensive travel solution to eliminate logistical challenges impacting clinical trial enrollment and retention – has seen strong demand, with implementations by 16 of the world’s top 20 pharmaceutical companies. Greenphire has continuously improved ConneX, adding in-market booking services to support local customs and language needs while catering to specific protocols and participant requirements. Recent enhancements decrease the amount of time spent by sites booking and managing travel for clinical trial participants, improving site satisfaction and preventing patient financial toxicity.
“Our top priority as a leader in this space is to keep innovating and delivering solutions that advance research by improving workflows and empowering sites around the globe,” said Jim Mu
rphy, Greenphire CEO. “We are thrilled that ConneX is able to have such a big impact on reducing challenges related to travel for patients and sites – from local transportation to international journeys.
ClinCard
The company also announced enhancements to the industry-leading payment reimbursement solution – ClinCard, which has facilitated more than 7.5 million distinct patient reimbursements globally. New solution additions include the ClinCard Tax Toolkit, making ClinCard the only clinical trial participant payment software to support IRS tax compliance as well as rideshare integration with Lyft – enabling ride request and payment execution workflows within a singular application.
eClinicalGPS
Usage of Greenphire’s eClinicalGPS automated site payment solution has expanded to over 1.7 million payments across 20 thousand sites in 55 countries, totaling well over a billion dollars in transactions. New enhancements continue to be rolled out, including dynamic payment allocation, which is particularly helpful for those doing business in markets with complicated site subcontractor relationships, such as Eastern Europe.
Greenphire’s eClinicalGPS solution supports the standardization and centralization of global investigator payments and will soon support the entire clinical trial lifecycle from protocol to payment execution.
