King of Prussia, PA (October 3, 2022) Greenphire, the global leader in financial lifecycle management for clinical trials, today announced its executives have been selected to present at four of the industry’s leading events: SCOPE EU, DIA Diversity Meeting, Site Solutions Summit and ICTMC. Greenphire leadership will take the stage to discuss how technology can increase patient engagement and retention and the need to implement DEI practices to improve study representation.

International Clinical Trials Methodology Conference (ICTMC) 2022

Mark Rooker, Development Manager, Clinical Site, University and Hospital Sales, UK at Greenphire, Joe Gough, Sr. Solutions Specialist, Strategic Accounts at Greenphire

Monday, October 3rd through Thursday, October 6th

Mark and Joe will join representatives from the University of Aberdeen for a poster presentation to showcase their partnership with Greenphire and share the University’s positive experience using Greenphire’s ClinCard® solution.

“The University of Aberdeen and Greenphire completed a “6-Month Proof of Concept Evaluation” of ClinCard among Patients and Public Involvement (PPI) consultants to research protocols undertaken at the University of Aberdeen (Scotland).  The efficiency of ClinCard and ease of use was assessed by University of Aberdeen’s finance and clinical research staff and the public participants.   ClinCard was determined to be more efficient than existing participant payment processes at the University of Aberdeen and participants appreciated the immediate payments.  Greenphire looks forward to additional partnerships with UK universities, hospitals, and sites to assess the benefits of ClinCard for improving participant payment and travel expense reimbursement efficiency and enhancing staff and research participant satisfaction,” said Gough.

Angela and Sandrine will discuss participant engagement in the clinical trial industry and how to improve participant involvement in a session titled, “Participant Engagement: The Power of Communication, Inclusion and Flexibility.”

“The industry is working to better identify, understand and engage a diverse patient population through hybrid and decentralized trials. However, there are challenges in developing a patient-centric culture and systems in this new set of modalities, both of which are critical in enrolling and retaining patients throughout the clinical trial lifespan,” said La Ronde. “I look forward to joining clinical innovation leaders to discuss these challenges and strategies to overcome them.”

DIA Advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Across Life Sciences R&D Virtual Meeting

Amy Sitnick, Vice President of Marketing at Greenphire

Thursday, October 6th at 1:45 PM EST

Amy will chair a session titled, “Advancing Changing Organizational Culture to Embrace Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: Setting Yourself Up for Culture Change Success,” to lead a discussion around implementing DEI practices and sustaining results.

“There’s been a lot of talk about the importance of increasing diversity in research, but not enough discussion of actionable strategies to achieve meaningful results. I’m proud to lead this panel to demonstrate how a diverse range of accomplished subject matter experts are building awareness of clinical trials amongst underrepresented populations, and holding their organizations accountable so their studies reflect the epidemiology of conditions being investigated,” said Sitnick.

Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) Site Solutions Summit

Andrew Gerrard, Product Trainer at Greenphire

Saturday, October 8th at 4:30 PM EST

Andrew will serve as a panelist to discuss the use of technology to decrease site and participant burden in a session titled, “Advancing Technology with Attention to Site & Participant Burden.”

“While the clinical trial space continues to embrace the increased use of technology, it’s critical we ensure sites and participants are kept well informed on how to use these tools. Technology has the power to transform the overall trial experience, but without proper training, can cause a major burden on sites and participants,” said Gerrard.
