As Greenphire’s CEO, Jim leads the strategy for the company, including client satisfaction, business operations, commercial execution and financial performance. He is committed to fostering a culture of growth, innovation, excellence and employee satisfaction.

Jim has focused his career on building innovative eClinical software companies to address challenges and unmet needs within the global clinical research ecosystem. Prior to joining Greenphire, Jim most recently served as the president and managing director of Almac Clinical Technologies, where he was responsible for strategic, financial and operational leadership. While at Almac, Jim also served as the president and managing director of Almac Pharmaceutical Services – Asia, where he established and managed the Almac Group’s Asia Pacific organizations and business operations across all solution areas.

Jim earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Jim resides in the Philadelphia area with his wife and three children. He has a keen interest in travel, cycling and water sports.

Owen Newman served as Chief Financial Officer for Simeio Solutions, a global leader in Identity and Access Management (IAM). With more than 25 years of financial management experience, Owen brings an extensive background in operations management, risk management, strategic planning, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, process improvement, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining Simeio, Owen held previous CFO roles with ACI Worldwide, Paycommerce Inc. and International SOS Inc., a global medical and security service company. He also served as the senior finance leader for WorldPay Inc., a global financial technology company.

Owen earned his Bachelor of Science degree and Master’s in accountancy from Nova Southeastern University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant.

As Chief Technology Officer, Alan leads the development of Greenphire’s innovative technology solutions that automate payments for the clinical trial industry, ensuring the infrastructure is secure, scalable, and reliable. Leveraging a proven agile methodology, Alan and his team constantly refine and develop Greenphire’s solutions to support client needs. Additionally, he works closely with the product team to plan and to execute the product roadmap strategy, anticipating “what’s next” and how to develop the right solutions to maintain the company’s strategic advantage.

With over thirty years of experience delivering software solutions for multiple industries, Alan has a diverse combination of skills in the areas of technology strategy, architecture, design, integration, and software development of SaaS products.

Previously, Alan was Vice President of Engineering at Medidata Solutions, a leading SaaS provider in the Life Sciences industry focused on Clinical Trial automation. Alan was responsible for managing the development, maintenance, and growth of several software products during his tenure at Medidata. Prior to that, Alan was CTO at eLynx, where he led the development and growth of the Expedite SaaS platform for automating the mortgage origination process for the nation’s leading mortgage lenders.

Born in Chicago, Alan holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston and an MBA in Finance from Miami University. In his spare time, Alan enjoys playing golf, playing tennis, riding his bicycle, and hiking mountains all over the country.

Kyle Cunningham has led strategic innovation at Greenphire for more than a decade. As Chief Product Officer, his primary mission is to ensure that the company’s solutions solve critical problems within clinical research, ultimately creating access for study participants and real value for research sites, CROs and study sponsors.

Kyle’s teams at Greenphire are responsible for overall solution strategy, product management, regulatory compliance and best practice consultation.

Prior to joining Greenphire, Kyle worked in the financial services industry for 12 years, most recently at SEI Investments (Europe) managing various product and service innovation initiatives.

As Greenphire’s Chief Commercial Officer, Steven is responsible for the global commercial strategy of the rapidly growing organization, including the execution of sales and marketing programs. Steve joins Greenphire with over 20 years of experience in technology-enabled solutions for life sciences. He has focused much of his career on generating revenue in high-growth businesses, building successful teams, and creating mature commercial business processes. With his extensive experience as a commercial leader, Steven is committed to advocating for transformative technology solutions and building relationships that drive clinical innovation.

Most recently, Steven served as CCO for Science 37, where he led his team through exponential growth in an emerging eClinical category. Before Science 37, he was responsible for sales, marketing, and corporate development as CCO at Medrio, a leading SaaS eClinical technology platform. Additionally, Steven spent nearly 15 years with Clario, leading Commercial Sales for North America encompassing a team of over 100 individuals and over half a billion in annual sales.

Steven earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stockton University. He currently resides in New Jersey with his wife and three children.

As Chief Experience Officer, Dan is responsible for overseeing Greenphire’s business operations teams, defining customer engagement and driving operational excellence to ensure a best-in-class customer experience for existing and future clients. He is committed to building and scaling the team to drive ongoing adoption and maximizing the value delivered from our software solutions and services around the world.

Dan has more than 25 years experience in the clinical trial industry, having started his career managing early phase trials at ScheringPlough, to more recently holding senior leadership positions at Veeva and Medidata. Dan’s responsibilities have included leading Professional Services, Customer Success, Customer Support, and Education Services teams in the US, Europe and Asia.

Dan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Rutgers University, a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree from Duke University. He currently resides in New Jersey with his wife and three children.

As Greenphire’s Head of Corporate Development, Abran leads the inorganic strategy for the company, including assessing growth and innovation opportunities in all healthcare markets, establishing strategic relationships with highly complimentary organizations and executing on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).

Abran has over twenty years of professional healthcare experience that spans most end-market segments including commercial and clinical pharma, payer, provider, consumer and government. Prior to joining Greenphire, Abran led Corporate Development for HMS (Nasdaq: HMSY) and was a senior Corporate Development Officer at IMS Health during the take-private by TPG Capital (now NYSE: IQV). In those roles, and through M&A, Abran drove transformation and entry into new business segments such as clinical trial optimization, payer and provider services, social media monitoring, mobile health, health economics and outcomes research services, real-world evidence solutions, government services, genomics, consumer health, population health and patient engagement. Abran also helped lead IMS Health’s $1.3B IPO in 2014. Abran was the founder and CEO of two data-driven healthcare software startups and previously worked as a healthcare investment banker for Bear, Stearns & Co. and held various operational roles at Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson, both in the United States and in Europe.

Abran earned a Bachelor of Science in International Business and Finance from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. Abran resides in Connecticut with his wife and three daughters and is a winter sports enthusiast.
